Something Glam is a brand that inspires to deliver beautiful quality clothing, for an affordable price to feminine, budget-conscious young women. The aim of the brand is to be relatable, attainable, and reliable – a fun, yet trustworthy place for young women to shop.
Something Glam is a brand that inspires to deliver beautiful quality clothing, for an affordable price to feminine, budget-conscious young women. The aim of the brand is to be relatable, attainable, and reliable – a fun, yet trustworthy place for young women to shop.
The project involved a site refresh and a move to the Shopify Dawn theme. We migrated Something Glam’s existing online Out of the Sandbox’s Flex theme to the Dawn theme – which enabled us to demonstrate the capabilities of the Dawn theme. We were a little shocked with how good the FREE Dawn theme was when compared with the premium OOTS Flex theme. We were easily able to deliver a fully stylized and branded site, with a great degree of functionality. Our team were also able to add many CSS customisations to further enhance visuals.

The project involved a mixture of studio photography, ghost mannequin photography and lifestyle photography. All the images have been edited post-production using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. Some of the images present on the site were shot by the wholesaler. To give a uniform approach to the product photos, our team doctored each image to ensure that it has the same lighting and background. Our team also ensured that each image used the correct SEO principles to promote organic traffic. To promote standardisation and increase efficiency we automated these processes with Photoshop.

We designed a simple colour scheme of two hues of complimentary pale pastel pink and black – this scheme underpins all the content on the site. It was chosen to emulate the playful and youthful glamour of the brand’s target audience.
Our team created a range of simple graphic illustrations to enhance the content of the site; as well as other material such as a logo, promotional material – e.g. business cards and personalised flyers, as well as personalised postage materials for the site.
